postheadericon Some Says Dream House isn’t Always Perfect House

Directed by six-time Academy Award nominee Jim Sheridan (“My Left Foot,” “In the Name of the Father”), starred by Hollywood heavyweights: Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, Oscar nominee Naomi Watts and the 007 agent himself, Daniel Craig, this upcoming horror film called “Dream House” sounds pretty first rate. The film scripted by David Loucka—best known for ancient pics like the Michael Keaton comedy “The Dream Team” and the Whoopi Goldberg basketball movie “Eddie”— is at base a big love story, but on top of that, it's a genre horror story. Yet on top of that, it's a psychological thriller. “There's a lot of strands to keep in the air," Sheridan explained. "But I'm happy enough with it. It will be a good movie. But it's a very unusual story-line that's sometimes hard to negotiate," he added. Sheridan, who made an amazing debut film with “My Left Foot”, has never directed a horror film before but hopefully the acclaimed Dublin-born filmmaker will pull an Alejandro Amenabar here and deliver us something psychological creepiness a la “The Others”. This also will be the first time for Mr. Bond to scream at something (possibly) supernatural, first time for Weisz since her waltz with Mr. Mummy and also for Watts since she kicked Samara back to her damned well.
